About Me

I am a Certified Parent Coach and a mother to two wonderful children, ages 6 and 3. I have completed PRIDE training through the Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Societies, which has deepened my understanding of attachment, connection, and supporting children with diverse emotional needs. I also a background in full stack web development and Chemical Engineering, which brings a unique blend of analytical thinking, creativity, and compassion to my work with families. I have also served as a Board member for Guided Roots since 2020, which reflects my ongoing commitment to supporting families and strengthening communities.

My journey into parenting coaching grew from my own lived experience, especially my personal struggles with postpartum, which shaped my understanding of how overwhelming and isolating early parenting can feel. That season of life became a turning point and sparked a deep passion for supporting other parents through similar challenges. Like many parents, I have faced moments of doubt, frustration and overwhelm, and those experiences continue to guide my work with empathy and care.

I am passionate about helping parents better understand their children while also supporting their own growth in self awareness, emotional regulation, and capacity. My approach integrates nervous system awareness, attachment science, and emotional intelligence within a culturally sensitive and faith based framework. I also bring a thoughtful, problem solving lens to my coaching, helping parents navigate challenges with both practical tools and deeper insight.

With additional training in trauma informed care and foster parenting, I offer a compassionate and informed approach to families navigating attachment challenges, big emotions, and more complex dynamics. I especially enjoy working with parents who are ready to break intergenerational patterns and build more intentional, connected family relationships.

At my core, I believe parenting is not about having all the answers. It is about showing up with presence, curiosity, and compassion. When children feel truly seen, heard, and valued, they naturally grow and thrive. I aim to create a warm, respectful, and non judgmental space where parents feel supported and empowered to move from power struggles to partnership, from self doubt to confidence, and toward a more calm and connected family life.

Outside of coaching and development work, I enjoy spending time with my family, learning new skills, and engaging in reflective practices that help me stay grounded and present.

Parenting Isn’t Taught—It’s Learned

No one starts out knowing exactly how to parent. We do our best, make plans, and envision the kind of parent we want to be—but then life happens. The daily pressures, unexpected challenges, and the intensity of caring for children can quickly make even the best intentions feel out of reach.

Without guidance, it’s easy for patterns from our own upbringing to sneak in, sometimes creating tension, conflict, or frustration instead of connection. These patterns are not a reflection of your love or dedication—they are simply habits passed down through generations.

The good news is, it’s never too late to change the way you parent. No matter where your relationship with your children is right now, there is hope. With understanding, awareness, and practical strategies, you can begin to break old cycles, respond with calm, and foster deeper connection and trust with your children.

Parenting is a journey of growth—for both you and your children—and you don’t have to navigate it alone.

My Approach

For me, emotional intelligence and connection go hand in hand. I’ve learned that when children feel truly seen, heard, and valued, they flourish—not only in confidence and independence, but also in their ability to build strong, healthy relationships.

My goal is to help parents nurture this connection while also taking care of themselves, so that both parent and child can thrive. I became a parenting coach because I believe every child deserves to be guided and loved by parents who feel supported, empowered, and confident in their role.

By working together, you can explore a different kind of relationship with your children—one built on collaboration, understanding, and appreciation—so that your family can grow in harmony and joy.
